Anglo Nordic Super Universal Thermocouples

A thermocouple is a thermoelectric device for measuring temperature, made of two different metals that produce a small electrical charge when heated on one side. This switches on an electromagnet which opens a valve, allowing the gas or water to flow through. When properly configured, thermocouples can provide temperature measurements over a wide range of temperatures.

Our Anglo Nordic Thermocouples come complete with 10 fittings, available in lengths 900mm & 1500mm. Our universal boiler thermocouples include universal adapter fittings and are compatible with screw-in, push-in or clamp-type pilot burners. The element is built for reliability and long life.

Universal thermocouples cover the replacement needs of the majority of the controls found in the UK domestic heating & commercial catering markets. The thermocouple & relevant components have been designed for ease of application. Super Universal thermocouples are designed to perform to at least the same standard as the original equipment.
