The “U” designation stands for Universal, meaning the pump can be installed in either orientation without changing the pump body. This allows the VDU 4L14 and VDU 4R14 to be used interchangeably depending on burner layout, reducing stock complexity while maintaining full performance.
Built to EN 225 mounting standards, the VDU 4 fits virtually all modern oil burners. It features a compact integrated design, combining the pump, filter and pressure-regulating cut-off valve into a single housing. The pump is self-priming, suitable for one-pipe or two-pipe systems, and provides reliable pressure regulation with positive nozzle cut-off in two-pipe installations.
