The Bund Alarm is designed to provide visual and audible alarms whenever a predetermined level in a storage tank bund is reached. The system consists of a weighted float sensor that is connected, with a 5 metre fuel resistant cable, to the weatherproof bund alarm box containing the visual and audible alarms.
This alarm is approved to operate with flammable liquids classed as category 1, 2 or 3 in accordance with European Regulation No. 1272/2008.
It is ATEX certified in accordance with EN 60079-0:2012 and EN 60079-11:2012. It is also IECEx certified in accordance with IEC 60079-0:2011 Ed 6 and IEC 60079-11:2011 Ed 6
